I started this piece with Elizabeth Black at Sauder Village in 2005.  Samson has epilepsy and had several seizures over just a few days.  We planned to take him to the vet on Monday.  I spoiled him and said my goodbyes and took lots of pictures.  As luck would have it, Samson was seizure free on Sunday.  I postponed the Monday visit to the vet.  Without any change in medication, Samson is back to the acceptable limit of one seizure per month.  He is more spoiled than ever almost two years later.

And yes, this is the same dog that I hooked in Standoff: Samson v. Kitty Mom and Village of Pemberville.

FYI:  Samson is a golden retriever and aphgan mix.  My daughter found him 12 years ago as a stray.
