"Favorite Things", 2000
I hooked this vest in order to explain to the thrift store
clerks what I did with all those wool skirts. From the top left clockwise:
Me hooking in front of my fantasy wool wall. This fantasy is now a
reality! My husband in his wood working shop. My husband's workshop
viewed from the back of the house.
Other people would call it a garage, but you can't drive a car in and the big
door has been replaced for more wall room. And finally, a view of the
front of the house.
I gained courage to hook people from Barbara Brown's book in the
Rug Hooking Magazine's Framework Series.
Won Honorable Mention ribbon at Sauder Village, Archbold, OH,
2001.
